snarcana is an entertainment service: ai tarot readings with attitude. it is run by a small team and one tarot reader of disputed age. contact: d@snarcana.com.

the questions you type — they are sent to our ai provider (openrouter, servers may be outside the eu) to generate the reading, and nowhere else. don't put other people's sensitive data in a question; the cards don't need names anyway.

the cards drawn, the readings and verdicts — stored locally in your browser (journal). if you create an account, your journal, profile and reading history are stored on our server so they survive across devices.

what you tell us at onboarding — a name or alias, a focus area, optionally a birthday. all of it is skippable.

your language choice and, when accounts exist, a session cookie. that's the whole cookie story: no ad trackers, no third-party analytics pixels.

we don't sell your data. we don't use your questions to train models. we don't show ads. the cards judge you, but privately.

local data: clear it any time in your browser. account data: write to d@snarcana.com and it's gone — a one-click delete button is coming with account settings.

when a question is genuinely heavy, the jokes stop and some questions are pointed to living people instead of cards. snarcana is not a medical, psychological or crisis service.

if this policy changes, the date above changes with it. the cards will not notify you personally.
